A SILENT NIGHT

Method and I had the surreal opportunity to take over Times Square and tell a story across most of the location’s billboards.

I collaborated with the agency to create a look for the sequence and imagine how the story would unfold across 30+ giant billboards. The characters and elements, designed to look like astral bodies, were made out of particles animating seamlessly from one screen to the next, adding a sense of immersion and awe for the viewers on-site. We had to figure out a way to accommodate different framerates and resolutions into this project so the animation wouldn’t feel disjointed.

Watching this live as Times Square became quiet and contemplative was a unique experience.
